After finishing his studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Simon has worked in the marine and offshore industry since 2012. He has gained a vast knowledge in the fields of hydrodynamics, marine operations and in the design of offshore structures having responsibilities in the execution and management of marine projects. Joining a certification body in 2017 to support the offshore wind energy department with focus on floating technology, he was introduced to wind turbine load calculations; an excellent addition to Simon’s set of skills. In 2019, Simon and Tim founded the THEC Offshore GmbH now providing services for the global offshore industry.
