FLOATICS ONLINE TOOL

Advanced motion response analysis for floating vessels.

Our pre-calculated hydrodynamic vessel databases provide a structured and efficient way to evaluate motion characteristics across a range of water depths, drafts, and trim conditions.

Engineers and offshore contractors can use floatics to:

  • assess vessel behaviour under varying conditions
  • explore operational scenarios during planning phases
  • gain insights to support engineering decisions

The platform is built to deliver fast, accessible results—helping you streamline early-stage analysis and improve planning efficiency.

BEHIND FLOATICS

thec offshore GmbH

Simon Dillenburg

Simon Dillenburg

Managing Director / Naval Architect

After finishing his studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen, Simon has worked in the marine and offshore industry since 2012. He has gained a vast knowledge in the fields of hydrodynamics, marine operations and in the design of offshore structures having responsibilities in the execution and management of marine projects. Joining a certification body in 2017 to support the offshore wind energy department with focus on floating technology, he was introduced to wind turbine load calculations; an excellent addition to Simon's set of skills. In 2019, Simon and Tim founded the THEC Offshore GmbH now providing services for the global offshore industry.

Tim Habekost

Tim Habekost

Managing Director / Naval Architect

Tim studied naval architecture at the Technical University Hamburg-Harburg and Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU). After his graduation in 2010, he worked as naval architect in the design of offshore structures and marine operations. He gained his experience by management of marine engineering projects and the team lead of a hydrodynamics department. Since 2017 Tim provided consultancy and engineering services for the maritime industry while joining forces with Simon in 2019 starting THEC Offshore GmbH.
